Passport Heavy

Hello everyone, this week I quickly want to talk about an organization I learned about this week called Passport Heavy. Their mission is to tell stories about black culture through traveling and documenting their experience for everyone to learn as they watch and to make a decision on if they themselves want to visit. I watched the Haiti documentary where they visited Haiti and highlighted the beauty of the country. I enjoyed this video as it had a personal feel and did not feel so much as someone going just for content, it felt as if I was watching a genuine vacation vlog. I also liked that in the beginning there was a moment taken to discuss the current issues ongoing in Haiti before continuing on to show the trip. Although there is conflict in Haiti, this video does a great job showing what the media typically does not show us in this country.
